Hey,
I have a 307 that goes into a powerglide trans with a 2800 stall and pro matic shifter, my problem is that when i am heavy on the pedal and change gears from 1st to 2nd it revs out a bit as if in neutral before changing gears. Wondering if anyone knows why this is happening Thanks |

Another thing to check is your shifter setup. My t400 was flaring and it ended up that the b+m bracket was a sloppy fit on the selector shaft, the shifter would work fine but the shaft wasnt fully in gear.
Eliminate all the easy stuff before you pull the box. |

hey thanks heaps for the help so far..
heres where i'm at spoke to a few people today and turns out my kickdown linkage is missing... which provides a pressure when changing gears. so this is probably my first stage at rectifying the problem. Does anyone know if a stock linkage will connect up to a holley 600? also does anyone have or can take a photo of theres so i know exactly what i'm looking at... Cheers |
