Default Aussie made chev pontiac

What aussie made, chev and pontiac, do you think looked the best.
I think 1966 chevy impala.
and for pontiac the 1967 parisienne.
They make the poor old holdens of the same years, look like crudd.
It's a shame that we poor aussies only got the 327 motor, the USA got great options.
any know about these cars. what do you think.

My dad used to own a 327 powered parisienne. I'm not sure what year it was as he sold it when I was probably 5 or 6 but I do remember the deep, dark maroon paint and the incredibly wide bench seat in the front.

i dunno if it was aussie assembled or anything but my brother had teh chance to get a 455 big block 68 Parisienne. the only reasons he didn't get it because it wouldn't start, wouldn't fit on a trailer and he couldn't get a tilt tray in to get it.

Assembled yes. there can be a fair bit of difference between the aussie and the USA, and even the canadian, of the same model. even a yank, could be bamboozed.
