Default big block 454

wanting to put a big block in my hq, any conversion need to be done when I fit it?

use same mounts as sbc, pipes are about it as i understand, and engineers certificate in qld i believe, van454 will know any other details

I dont know about over there but here I found the early camaro left-hook headers were cheaper than the Pacemaker or Hurricane & you can put them in & remove them with the engine in place.

the exhaust pipes is the biggest hurdle.

please let me know what you pay for a new set of headers, i am( about 2 months) to do that same conversion.

hay red beard what do u reckon would be better option, either stroke my 308 to 355 or piss it off and drop the big block in there? not after heaps of h.p just a tuff daily with heaps of torque to turn rubber into smoke.
