Abruzzi Racing in the states build some of the best & strongest 400's you'll find... & they're cheap. They range from $699-$899 US for a hell 400.

Abruzzi Racing 'Competition TH400'
Abruzzi Racing Transmissions competition transbrake valve body 34 element sprag deep pan roller bearings new bushings throughout modified pump These are run in 1000hp+ door-cars $1195 USD Bit cheaper than $3600. I'll be using one of their 'Mack-Daddy' glides, & even though i'll be making over 2000hp they have offered me a 2yr warranty. Try to find a trans shop that offers that.'headbang' In the 2007 season Abruzzi Racing Transmissions have WON 1 $30,000 Bracket Race 1 $20,000 Bracket Race 8 $10,000 Bracket Races 2 $5,000 Bracket Races 4 IHRA Top Dragster National Events 1 IHRA Top Sportsman National Event 3 NHRA Super Comp National Events 2 NHRA Super Gas National Events 1 IHRA Quick Rod National Event 6 IHRA Top Sportsman Divisional Events 3 IHRA Top Dragster Divisional Events 3 IHRA Quick Rod Divisional Events 2 IHRA Super Rod Divisional Events 2 NHRA Top Sportsman Divisional Events 1 NHRA Top Dragster Divisional Event 3 NHRA Super Comp Divisional Event 2 NHRA Super Gas Divisional Events 1 IHRA Stock Divisional Event 3 Quick 16 Winners If that's not enough they have also had 4 $10,000 Runner Ups 3 NHRA Super Comp National Event Runner Ups 1 NHRA Super Gas National Event Runner Up 1 IHRA Top Sportsman National Event Runner Up 1 NHRA Super Comp Divisional Event Runner Up 1 NHRA Top Sportsman Divisional Runner Up 4 IHRA Top Sportsman Divisional Runner Ups 3 IHRA Top Dragster Divisional Runner Up 2 IHRA Quick Rod Divisional Runner Ups 1 IHRA Super Rod Divisional Runner Up 1 IHRA Hot Rod Divisional Runner Up 1 Quick 16 Runner Up

How do I get one delivered to Oz? Sounds the goods. B&M boxes are a bit dodgy and to get one to suit 600hp is in the high $3000s |

Google their website too, it lists their trans options, you will more than likely be able to use one that's a bit cheaper even.
This is their email: marco@abruzziracing.com

2 many toys not enough $$

It would be bloody hard to get a box built locally for the price that Abruzzi builds boxes for! Definately an option worth considering. They've got ads all over For Sale: race & performance cars, engines, engine parts, trailers
