I was driving a VZ commodore for a while and it started vibrating badly when i used to give it any acceleration, didn't do it in reverse as much. Took it to holden cause it was under warranty and they said a bolt came out of the tail shaft and it stripped a thread. Which was causing it.

Donno if that helps you or not but maybe have a look at the tailshaft?.

It happens when the car is sitting idle, so its not the tailshaft.

id be inclined too think that something may have come lose between the converter and the gearbox. put it into a shop and get it checked out.

these modern things arent as easy too play with than the new ones.
