I was driving a VZ commodore for a while and it started vibrating badly when i used to give it any acceleration, didn't do it in reverse as much. Took it to holden cause it was under warranty and they said a bolt came out of the tail shaft and it stripped a thread. Which was causing it.
Donno if that helps you or not but maybe have a look at the tailshaft?. |

id be inclined too think that something may have come lose between the converter and the gearbox. put it into a shop and get it checked out.
these modern things arent as easy too play with than the new ones. ian |
