Default seting new cam and head package

i've just recently purchased a 383 stroker for my hq project ute, it's a four bolt main scat crank fordges piston hi vol oil pump etc.
for self assurance i pulled the motor down checked all the bottom and and cleaned out the motor
i now am up to the engine, so i bought a pretty big hyd crane blue racer cam and lifter package. i've been told that i'm to get the cam dialed in and set the fuelie heads up to handle the cam. this requires me to get larger if not double springs and the correct rod lenght for the cam.
my heads have to be machined to suit the double or single apparently, so i'm asking all the knowlaged folk of aussie v8 to have there say and steer me in the correct way
Q1: how long should it take to machine the heads to suit the larger spring?
Q2:with new valves and rods, dialing the cam, installing heads and gaskets what should this roughly cost me?
Q3: is there a sprocket for the crank shaft that has different key way settings,
Q4: are all hyd push rods the same lenght?
