Take all sprak plugs out. spray cylinders with wd40 and give them a table spoon of oil turn motor by hand (approx 1/8th of a turn) put more wd40 turn again. if you cannot turn by hand it will be a leave sit and try in 4 hour jobbie. If still not turning, pull motor down and start your rebuild.

Cheers

pretty much what oldn64 said - does the thing even crank over? if not i would just start your re-build or even search for a running motor, probably alot cheaper as there are some decent ones out there. i would imagine the condition of your cylinder walls, there probably rooted so even though u get it running it might loose lots of compression. But it's always worth a shot never know it might run sweet.

find yourself a short motor and put your head and cam on it, then.

head and cam are most of the job when a motor is 'worked'

I dont know if this would work on a big 6 but it works on motorbike engines if the crc or wd40 does not. Take motor out and place in a freezer (in your cace a big one) leave over night then start with the crc/wd40 again. Has worked for me every time with lawnmowers and motorbikes.

throw it out, start again.

I bet a forum member in Melbourne has a spare blue or black 202 they are willing to donate.

yea it would probably be cheaper and easier to get another short motor and chuck ur good stuff on it. 202's are a dime a dozen these days.

Better of just getting another and using the old one for spares.
