Default SV 3800. Are the engines different?

Hey all

I was just wondering if there was any difference in the VN SV 3800 engines compared to a standard VN Executive??

Are the specs different is what im saying i think haha like kw's n stuff

i've seen somewhere that they had a different memcal or something to produce a bit more power. but i don't kno wwhether or not that's true

From memory knock sensor add and different memcal.

Cannot remember too much more though. I know there are a few differences but not much...

Yes the above, plus it had a lsd. Someone once told me they had a different stall than usual, doubt it though. I know they have a rev limiter,

Im not too keen on the old sv3800, Pay more for a couple of stickers really. Although the trim is nice and comfy,

The sv3800's only performance mods were memcal chip and exhaust.

It made 132kw over the standard 125kw.

0 - 100 was 8.1 seconds.

yea they had memcal, exhaust, FE2 suspension, different interior and a bodykit and thats pretty much it. oh, and mags lol. there basically a HSV enhanced VN V6. and the SV5000 was a HSV enhanced VN SS pretty much
