aussie 4 speed would be the easiest and cheapest, but supra 5 speed might be better but cost more and be a bit harder to fit, as some modifications will be needed.

Go the supra, I had an M20 and they are as weak as piss. BTW, don't let anyone tell you an M21 is stronger, the only difference is the ratios. (I am talking aussie 4 speeds here, not the M21 Muncie)

they're not that bad, mines lasted, with countles clutch dropping, gear grinding and 2nd gear chirps with 245's on the back.

The 5 speeds are weak as, that's why they weren't available on the bigger sixes, only the 161(or 179, I can't remember)

dellow and the rod shop both sell kits to do that. or you can buy the parts separately.
have a look around. you can get them for next to nothing these days. i sold a complete kit without gearbox for $150.

there's a bellhousing to mate the celica box to your motor.
you use your original flywheel and pressure plate with a celica clutch plate.
you can either modify your gearbox crossmember or get an aftermarket one.
use a toyota tailshaft yoke on the front of your tailshaft. *edit* i should probably mention here that the tailshaft needs to be shortened or something.

crs or dellow sell speedo cables to suit. and clutch brackets

the celica boxes have 4 different shifter positions that move the shifter backwards or forwards about 200mm

Take your box out and have your local auto trans man fit a billet low server piston, or have him mill your current one and put two rings on it. Replace and add clutches, and for a "shift kit" you will be just up for labour, they dont make shift kits for th180`s is only a bit of drilling and a few springs anyway. $1000 would be asking top dollar,
you could find a gemini torque converter to go with the setup

Go the column shift!
