Hi
Need help had SV6 serviced numerous times to rectify prob holden dealer claimed was ABS pump, changed that - still get noise only when cold, mostly when acclerating - getting to frustration point. Noise is like a metal file grinding on a piece of metal in short bursts HELP!!! |

I was thinking sticky lifters but that's more of a ticking noise and not a grinding noise. I'll do some looking around for you.

Thanks Daryn... I hope to get some answers to take to Holden service people to show them up we have had the car since it was 6 months old and every service we tell them about the prob... first they thought cos the engine cover was loose... then they need it over night which they did then they couldnt get the noise to happen then my other half had to take them for a drive in it... i dont think that they even took it for a drive themselves
