Default CFI EA Falcon cutting out

i have a CFI EA (duel fuel) Falcon that cuts out when driving along it usually does it in the same spot too, i think it might be something to do with heat, because it always does it on a slight uphill that goes for a few km.
i dunno if it is electrical or fuel but when it cuts out it takes a while before it will start again, last time it did it, i put the pedal to the floor and cranked it and it went right away, and sometimes you can feel it splutter and pump the accelorator and it wont cut out.

anyone had this problem or know what it could be.

First of all check for spark when it cuts out.
if you have no spark its either dizzy or coil.. both common problems with ea-el falcons

complete dizzys go for 50 bucks brand new on ebay. and coils go from 30 dollars.
replace both of them and ull be set.

What does it do when you try to crank it? Does it turn over?

I have experienced this in my dual fuel VR.

Prob = Coil.
