Default VS V6 Servicing

Hey all, ok if i wanna do a cheapo service from home to my car, which is a VS Acclaim 1995 V6, what can i do? like oil changes and filter changes and stuff like that, and where i can open up and all that stuff like brakes and stuff the things that u can service or fix urself from home without having to take it to like Holden or something, coz i never really had any experience, and i want the experience just so i no, and i dont wanna stuff anything up, coz then ill be riding my bike. thankz

oil, oil/fuel filters, leads, plugs (if they are gapped correctly), brake pads and whatnot are easy to do yourself, as are brake rotors if you're just chucking on new ones... try to get a hold of a workshop manual to make life easier..

just make sure you know wat your doing with t brakes before you play with them cause u might need them to stop

brake pads are a 10 minute job if you know what you're doing - just make sure that you have a G clamp or something handy, as sometimes when the caliper is off the piston will move inwards and will require some gentle clamping to get it back inside teh caliper so you can put it back on..
