Default When will they stop (crankshaft balancer)

CAR PROBLEMS - when will they stop lol.

Got home from work late last night pulled into my driveway and heard a thump, i just thought i ran over something, got out (car still on) and saw a large piece of rubber and thought, just must of ran over that, but then the car starts to make an awful sound, so i quickly turn it off, give it a good kick to the tire and went to bed =P (wasnt gunna deal with it at 12am lol)

Well got up today, i thought it might have been the altnator bearings gone but wen i took the belt off it was turning fine, i then looked down and turned the crankshaft balancer and there was a big bit missing (ding ding ding, the rubber bit (idoit) LOL) so it was the metal ring sliding round the rubber bit (or is it the other way round) anyway thats my bitch for today, i feel a bit better now.

Anyone no if its easy to replace, and how much a new one is.

heres some pics:

ash loves a good pulling

yea hotwired, it grabs the balancer from the back and has a bolt in the middle which pushes down on the crank ? and pulls the balancer off (much like a steering wheel puller)
