Default VL Commo 6 auto

Alright, VL Berlina 6cyl auto (t-bar) the 'overdrive' button on the t-bar won't stay in. Is this a common problem, or is it not? And is it just like a spring in the t-bar to fix it?

Cheers

EDIT: I know, calaisturbo would probably be a better place to ask but I wanna try my luck here as I don't really want to join there.
