Default Magna oil?

Sorry about the non V8 nature of this thread, but do any of you know how much oil a 1994 magns(ts) takes at oil change?

if its a 4 cyl, the motors were 2.4L, and 6 cyl were 3L right? Or something like that.

i thought the 6's were a 3.2 but im most likely wrong...

the sixes were 3.0, but the question is how much OIL to put in them, not the engine capacity

Lots if it's a 94 Magna. It always comes out of the exhaust in them anyway. Just keep topping it up.

LOL yeah, 4.5 litres to bring it up to the full mark and another 2 litres so it makes it home without seizing.

from what i've got, if it's a 4cyl,

4.1L and 4.6L with filter.

not sure on the V6s

LOL, yeah, from what I can gather they're hungrier for oil than an American president.

I put about 3L into it, the missus(its her car) is gonna take it for a spin tomorrow to see if it shits itself.

Cars are nothing though, my old firestorm(VTR1000f) took 4L with a filter and it was only a 996cc v-twin. Ah, those were the days...

ah i think it will take a touch more then 3 litres... use the dipstick?
