Default Fully S#$t

hows it goin 1 of my mates bought a VL calais turbo, but heres the problem wen it sits at idle it leaves all black shit on the ground and wen it hits boost it blows a constans flow of blue/whits smoke. i no this aint a good thing any suggestions on wats wrong?

sounds like it could be rings, or turbo seal. but post a topic in there and ask away! plenty of helpful people there too!

with 18000 members your likely to get a response within about 15 mins

i'd say blown turbo, does it have any power when boost comes on?
tell him to get an 8, that'll fix the problem

turbo's are very fun, i drove a bt1 around for a week and it was great

if it blows a whole heap when it comes on boost, there could be oil getting into the turbo which means rebuild. if its just a little, you shouldn't worry, they usually mix the air/fuel very heavy on the fuel so it doesn't lean when on top boost.

and btw, moving to aussie 6's section

found out the turbo is blown, but here's where it gets interesting he bought it from some guy on the CT forums it was advertised as a sII calais turbo, wen it was at the mechanix he found out it had all N/A running gear withe a turbo bolted onto it and its a calais mock up he's spewin.

Ps. In my eyes REAL cars dont sneeze they rumble.
