high stalls work just like normal torque converter ,in that they have a certain amount of slippage up to a certain rev .It is very important though, to get a converter purpose built for your car .That way the guys that are building it can take into account your cam size , rev range, weight of vehicle ,diff gears ,etc etc. They are the same as a normal converter to install(most of the time they,re smaller ,which makes it easier) you just have to make sure that you position it on the locating lugs right in the tranny.I have a dominator stall in my sedan and a tce stall in my ute.In my opinion the dominator stall is a better product but thats just me.Hope that helps.

The car weighs around 1090kg, running a standard 202 with tripple su`s, 3:36 diff ratio, and a 30/70 cam, the power range for this cam is between 2200, and 5200 rpm. I will be changing the diff centre to a 3:08 ratio, as soon as i can find one. My unqualified guess is i want to put power down around the 2100 mark.
please, ladies & gents your opinions on this.

What i would like to achive is a DIY instalation if possible. (snakes in the pockets) Is this the sort of thing i could just go to a transmission shop and say "hey i need a blah blah" go home nut and bolt here and there and done?
