Default 3800 buick v6 help please?

hello i was just wondering if anyone could give me some good ideas for the heads of my n/a v6 i am rebuilding the bottom end at the moment an have 40thou overbore acl pistons, and im looking for a good cam help please? prices would be appreciated

My brother is having his 3.L8 stroked to 4.3 ltrs atm. I have no idea of the cam as it is being custom ground but they are using ported ecotec heads because the valves are bigger.

i was going to stroke it but i got onto the parts for the bottom end really cheap.

I can see how much he wants for his brand new stage 2 crow cam and chip if you like. The stage 2 doesn't have enough lift for the stroker that is now happening and is more suited to a std motor.

that sounds great mate. i was going to go a stage 3 but it might be a bit big for a non stroked bottom end.

I just rang him.

He has just lost his licence which has financial issues etc, rebuilt motor is on hold until his boss decides his fate.


He said he will know in two weeks and isn't thinking of the cost to sell because he may need to use them if he loses his job.

If he sells them I am guessing probably $100 under retail as they are brand new in the plastic.
