Default vk diff

first do vk v8 have a lsd and do they have disc brakes

im sure it would have disc brakes but it may not have an LSD, jack it and spin the back wheels or bolt stockies on and do a skid.. lol

i dont have a v8 diff yet i just wonted to know before i got one and some one told me to put a vs front end in it
good or bad

Some of the v8 diffs don't have a lsd centre..You can use the vs crossmember,steering racklower control arms with the early stuff struts etc..think it's to get more clearance if using pacemakers mainly.

vn & later diffs do fit but place the wheels awfully close to the wheel arches & can/will scrub badly if car is lowered,wouldn't mind seeing someone suss out an r31 diff in a early commo,change brackets,get stud pattern changed over then you can fit wider tyres under it...would still need toi find an lsd centre though.

all VK V8s had rear disc brakes (they were a mandatory factory fit)
but most did NOT have LSDs
LSDs were an option on most and were only standard on SS models
(inc GrpA) and of course all HDT models
