Gday ive been wondering what differences there are between the red blue and black 202's. Im guessing black would be the best cus they worked all the bugs out of it, but what actually changed between the 3? cheers

the early black and late blue(VH) blocks are the best
and its generally thought the 12 counterweight cranks used in the XT5 engines are better than the earlier reds late VK blocks suffered from worn tooling and can have offcentre tunnels and very thin cylinder walls the 12 port head (blue and black) is generally better than the early siamese (red) 9 ported head hth Smitty |
