i just bought a ed xr6 with with a tickford motor, looking to get more power out of the motor, what upgrades can I do to my motor?

lol nah, just kidding. a mate of mine built the motor in his old ED, and it was a weapon. small IVAN TIGHE cam, ACL race series pistons, worked heads (done by JHH engineering) AU intake, roller rockers, etc, etc... also had a spooled 4.11 diff, and was a 5Spd manual (T5). he kept shattering 3rd gear in the T5's, so he got sick of it and sold it to another mate.

after the otherr mate bought the car, he changed a few things, which in turn made it slower, and it still kept up with another mates raptor blown VS V6 that made near 280rwhp... so it had a hell of alot of potential to run a 12...

all that from a motor that cost his well under 5k to build.

so theres some food for thought for ya. i can persoanlly vouch for this combo. it went bloody hard, and had stupid amounts of torque.
