yeah i'm looking for a 202 because i had heard the they were pretty reliable, easy to work with motors, just didn't know which one to go for or what gearbox.
im pretty sure that wb's come with blue 202's and m20's, am i right? also can you put a hj/hz front end on one

ive heard that blue 202's use more fuel than reds, is that right and would it be a good idea to convert it to gas because im worried about the running cost

Not true, the blue motors are ever so slightly more economical than the reds because of the (now ancient) advances in technology when it came to things like carbys and ignition among other things. I luv the red motors but the blue and black motors definitely are slightly better on fuel. If you are thinking of converting to gas, do yourself a favour, DONT go for dual fuel, straight gas is a far better option all round. You will kick yourself if you dont.

toryman is correct with going either straight gas or straight fuel.On a 600km trip from Kalgoorlie to Perth.350 worked chev on straight gas(380rwhp)in a 96 FJ75 costs $20 less than a 90 HZJ80.The 75 is my sons & the 80 is mine,i nurse it he dosen't.

You'll need to put inserts in the valve seats if you go LPG, the blue and blacks would pull through the seats when they were the car of choice, many a recoditioner made a $ or 2 out of them on pertol let alone LPG.
