Default borgwarner ratio

getting a VL diff into my HD,what is the standard ratio these came with?ive been told they are 3.4 or thereabouts

VL turbo are 3.45:1

check the tag on the diff you're looking at for the actual ratio

ALL VL 6cylinders were 3.45:1, and V8 were 3.08:1.

VL turbo, and V8 had 28spline axels, while normal VLs had 25spline axels...

therefore, the best VL diff to get is a VLT which is 28spline 3.45:1 diff...

ive been told the VN onwards BW is the better go..anyone know the standard ratio with these?im buying a VP commo one tomorrow..im getting the housing and axles cut down and mini spooled.also are they 28spline?

ratio is 3.08..yes they are 28 spline and the centres are the same between the vl 28 spline diff and the vn
