Default EF Tickford 6 into XG p/van

Ok.... my ol van's stock engine decided a week ago to commit suicide (rather spectacularly) and upon diganosis was decided the cheapest fix would be to replace the motor.

soooo, managed to source an EF futura that had been rear-ended. it has the tickford motor in it (this was standard i think for the futura??) it had 160k on the clock and i picked the motor up for a couple of hundjy and a carton.

and now i have to swap em over. i'm told by a couple of people that all i have to do is change the timing cover over.. and all will be hunky dory.

anyone know any different? and does anyone have any tips and/or suggestions for the process??
