Default Extractors VG ute onto VR Sedan

Guys,
a bloke my brother works with wrote off his VG ute with a heap of mods that wer'nt on the policy.
so the extractors came off the car, he offered them to my brother for free, to go onto his VR sedan

will they bolt straight on? considering they are both the non-ecotec 3.8l
shoudl there be a problem

and
im pretty sure they wont fit onto my VS ute? as i have the ecotec?
if i decide to keep it, extractors will come one day.

cheers.
jase.

The VG ute will be no prob mate.

As for your VS, the newer engine has a shorter deck than the previous engines.

yes the VG is a VN. the same type of motor as up to VR, should be no problem.

Oops. I got confused with VU. So it should be no problem either way, the VR/VS is just a reskinned VP/VN.

they will fit on the vr but wont fit on the vs cos the vs exhaust comes straight down and meets in the middle of the car where as the vn-vr exhaust has that little kick to the left (or right depends which way your looking at it lol) and the exhaust runs down the left hand side of the car....

really hope that makes sense but i dont think it does lol

Another thing to check is, make sure they will fit from ute to sedan, alot of the time different models dont share the same exhaust setups.
