Default Under-Bonnet Superchargers

Hi all,

I would like a 8/71 Blower sticking out of the VN, But it's only a V6 and it's my daily driver. The engine is stock at th moment. It's done 378906kms and has had an engine rebuild.

I would like to know if I can get an under-bonnet supercharger for my car. My mate has a VT Calais that has an under-bonnet supercharger and it's soooo awesome!

So if I can, how much $$$ are we talking and what extras I have to do to my car to make this work. And also, we abouts in Adelaide can I get this done?

Thank You,

TC23

how much can u do yourself? cos if you get a performance shop to do it all or w/e, it will more then likely cost you more to get it done to your engine, then wat it would just buying a complete engine out of a vx/vt charged 6.
if thats not an option try e-gay, seen a complete supercharger system for buick v6 besides belts for 350 bucks the other day.

checkout raptor superchargers... they are, in my opinion, top of the game in superchargeing V6 commodores right now. they have some very interesting power figures with the kits they have supplied. i know a few people with them (one of them left my place just before in his VS V6 with a raptor and made a nice noise ) and they are well worth it. best bang for buck in my opinion.

The castlemaine blowers are designed to go on 2 litre toyotas you have to work them to hard. Which will cause to much heat inturn will not be effective. The easiest way to do it would be to buy a complete 3.8 supercharged motor wiring harness and computer and have them retro fitted to you car the m90 eaton blowers can make up to about 20psi on those motors with the right pulleys

bloody lovely mate, just buy a buick v6 supercharger, or a custom charger with everything to suit, fit it and jack the boost up to like 80psi

Default Raptor...

A Mate of mine has a Raptor Centrifical Charger on his Ecotec, 210RWKW, Goes very well, easily Beats another mates Manual VX R8.....

Total Cost was $5000 everything you need is in the kit, Half a day to fit, That includes the chiptorque chip for your ECU...!!
