Smile XW 250 crossflow Carby

G'day,I have an XW with a heavily worked 250 crossflow motor. It still has the single barrel carby on it. What would be the best carby setup for this motor to get the most out of it? Thanks

what head is on it? alloy or cast iron?

and exactly how worked is the motor?

you have the option of the 2 barrel weber off the late XE/XF
350 holley
450/465/600 holley.
a smaller DP can work on these or a 600 vac.
the crossflow motors can handle a fair bit of carby. I've seen a streeter with a 650 DP that ran fine.

personally, I'd go for a 4 barrel rather than the 350, for all round performance and economy

if your wanting to stay 2 barrel, a 500 holley works a lot better than the 350.
