what head is on it? alloy or cast iron?
and exactly how worked is the motor? you have the option of the 2 barrel weber off the late XE/XF 350 holley 450/465/600 holley. a smaller DP can work on these or a 600 vac. the crossflow motors can handle a fair bit of carby. I've seen a streeter with a 650 DP that ran fine. personally, I'd go for a 4 barrel rather than the 350, for all round performance and economy
