Id say in the parcel shelf or on the side of the rear window were there are normally corner lights. But in most stereos youd have Mid range and high frequency(tweeter noise) coming from the front with smaller mid rangers in the parcel shelf and the Low frequency or bass behind the rear seat facing towards the rear of the boot for optimum sound.
