If you invest in a cam installation you need to have it retuned.

Any improvement from a CAM CHANGE that retained the original fuel and spark tables would result in next to no gain and could well be detrimental to engine life and performance.

Here are the HSV 195, 215 and 220kw cam specs.

Even the 195i had a specific tune (EPROM) which is the 304 or 5.0 litre in a VT.

CAM and CHIP Packages can be a real hit and miss, some work and some don't; they are always conservative.
Best option is to tune, by someone who knows what they are doing.
