the more turbs you have means you will break up the air-fuel mixture more or over do the atomisation process and will slow it down getting into the combustion which mean the engine will have longer to recover due to the decreased or broken air-fuel mixture so there for would be characterised as a stumle on acclereration. the less turbs the faster the air-fuel mixture moves and better atomisation hence giving more air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber and a better burn process and would be characterised as smooth transition through acceleration is that close or am i way off
