Follow that little steel line down thats mounted at the back of the block drivers side incorporated with the Trans oil filler/dipstick tube. the engine side should go to Plenum vacuum and the other end will go to the back drivers side of the box and into the Modulator valve throught a short bit of 1/8 rubber vac hose , Check for leaks and ensure its plugged in properly both ends. Before plugging in on modulator end , start engine and see if you have good vacuum down at the modulator end.Now some are adjustable they have a Blue stripe on then , some use a allen key and some use a slotted screwdriver end .(the ones that dont have adjustment , can be adjusted by lengthing/shortening the roll pin inside by increments of .020 a time.)Screw it out to changeup earlier, or in to changeup later ,
PS this is for a Trimatic , sorry about that !!!!!!!! too much sheeeeraz
