Sadly easy doesn't figure into it much, you have to pull it out from under the dash. The best way is to simply jump in feet first and remove the left side dash including glove box, doesn't take long to remove the lot (just a few screws) and quicker than going around in circles trying to bend your arms three ways working around it. You'll need a helper on the other side for reassembly at least to get the nuts and bolts to line up. At least there won't be any water to drip into the interior!
