You have some options:
1. Go to your Holden dealer and they can tell you the grams/second. BEST OPTION
2. Fit a pressure regulator and adjust your pressure to give you the 14.7:1 when in cruise closed loop.

If you push your fuel pressure above OEM then the engine will be rich, conversely if you operate a lower fuel pressure the engine will be lean.

You could use your standard pressure regulator, however with the higher flow of an 044 there will be a lot more in bypass! Not sure what this will do.

Unsure about NOT having an in-tank pump. Where will your suction be located?? You need to make sure suction stays covered.

This is for a VT.......
Fuel Pump Capacity:
High Pressure Pump - V6 and V8 Engines 21 grams/sec @ 350 ± 5 kPa with
12.5 ± 0.1 Volt applied (166 lb/hr @ 50psi)
V6 Supercharged Engine 30 grams/sec @ 410 ± 5 kPa with
12.5 ± 0.1 Volt applied (238 lb/hr @ 60psi)
Note the V6 SC in-tank pump is capable 9 grams/sec at 60kpa higher pressure.
Voltage is critical to quantity delivered. 1 volt drop; approx 10% loss in flow.

I would have gone with an upgraded in tank pump e.g Walbro. Depending on your engine upgrades dictates your fuel requirement. It is easily calculated.

I have a 044 on a surge tank supplied by in-tank pump. Most 044 are noisy!
