the best way oldman is to put it on the dyno.

I went in with a 1" open, gained with the super sucker, gained more with a 2" open on the old engine

In my limited expereince nearly every engine will love a 2" open as it makes for more mixing of the air/fuel and gives it a chance to "turn the corner"

Its also good if the carbs a tad on the small side.

given the price of a sucker, its worth getting it on the dyno to make sure.


edit: If you believed all the ads, we'd all be driving 1000hp engines by the time you add up the hp claims from air cleaners, spacers, polarisers etc lol
