If building one for street/ performance you can get the lock-up function taken out and run a non locking convertor.
Simplifies wiring also ,no need for TCC switch.
You can't just run a N/L convertor without the mod as trans will over heat. Stock, full flow to the cooler only works when
trans is in lock up.
