hey guys

ive got a 1968 ve val with 3 on the tree(3 sp man on the shaft)

i took the handle that changes the gears off by just removing the screw that ran through it and when i tired to put it back on i couldnt grab any gears besides 1st and reverse. any know how to fix this or how to explain this better maybe??
